Thankfully, in cosmetics, there are more options than ever. And that includes cosmetics that have natural ingredients and are responsibly sourced. If you have a chemical sensitivity or just are tired of putting synthetics and other potentially harmful substances on your skin, then natural cosmetics are for you. Natural cosmetics are made from botanicals and do not contain harsh chemicals. They use the power of essential oils to moisturize, nourish, protect and beautify your skin and hair

Many things affect the health of your skin. Normal aging, sun exposure, diet and exposure to free radicals (in the air we breathe) all affect the health of the epidermis. To provide a healthy foundation for your skin, eat a well balanced diet rich in antioxidants, B vitamins and unprocessed food. These factors work from the inside out to provide you with beautiful skin.
Excessive sun exposure contributes to premature aging in the skin. To combat this, use a natural moisturizer on your face every day that contains 15 spf sunscreen. A moisturizer enriched with antioxidants is particularly helpful. Also, use sunscreen on the parts of your skin that get the most sun exposure: arms, shoulders, chest on a regular basis, especially if you are going to be out in the sun more than 15 minutes.
Develop a good regimen for facial skin care. Cleanse makeup from your skin before going to bed and use a hydrating lotion every day.

Hair Care Cosmetic products |
One of the more challenging areas to find natural products is hair color and hair tint products. Hair dyes are not required to undergo the rigorous safety testing that other hair products undergo, thus consumers are often left on their own when choosing. Most of the dyes have noxious fumes and come with all sorts of warning labels about allergies. Many of these products contain bleach, peroxide, ammonia, resorcinol, heavy metals or paraphenylene diamine (PPD). Yet, many of us long for the natural color our hair used to be or just need a change.
There are options out there: henna and other plant based hair dyes offer safe dyeing alternatives. These dyes only use safe natural ingredients, however, the result is often less dramatic than chemical based hair dyes, and often only semi-permanent.

Natural Nail Enamel Cosmetic Products |
Yes, it is possible to have nail color that is non toxic! Water-based polish is odor and solvent free, and contains no formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalates or FD& C colors (things that are present in conventional nail enamels!). It is nontoxic and earth-friendly, and does not strip your nails of naturally produced oils. Best, they can be removed with rubbing alcohol, so you don’t need nasty nail polish remover anymore. Water based oils dry quickly and are water resistant in 15 minutes, and if you love to paint your nails, water based nail enamels are a great choice!
